Most ESP content focuses on players and loot. But in Escape From Tarkov, getting out alive is the point of the raid, and a few options in this product are built around that.
Extract ESP
Under the visual options you will find exfils, which marks extraction points. That is useful in two moments: early in a raid when you are planning a route, and late when you are low on time or hurt and need the nearest way out.
Transitions
Transitions are also listed in the visual options. These mark the points used to move between locations, so you do not have to remember where each one sits on every map.
Radar
A radar gives you a compact view of what the cheat is tracking. The advantage is that you can take in the positions of targets at a glance without reading a screen full of labels. If your player ESP already feels busy, radar is a cleaner way to keep track of movement.
Out of FOV arrows
OOF arrows (out of field of view arrows) point toward targets that are not currently on screen. They are handy when something is behind you or off to the side, and you want to know which way to turn.
How it differs from player ESP
Player ESP draws information on the target itself, such as a box, skeleton, name, distance, weapon or health. Extract ESP, transitions, radar and arrows are about direction and map awareness. They answer a different question: not what is that player carrying, but where should I be heading and what is around me.
You can read more about the first group in our guide to player ESP options.
A simple way to use them together
- Keep player ESP simple, with distance and one main style.
- Turn on exfils so you always know your nearest exit.
- Use transitions if you move between locations.
- Add radar or OOF arrows if you want awareness without more labels.
- Save the setup as a config.
There is also a hitmark option and an ammo counter in the visuals if you want extra feedback.
