dumb question maybe, but what does streamproof actually mean for an esp overlay? does it just mean it doesn’t show up in obs recordings? asking because i clip a lot and i would not want a menu randomly appearing in a video

i think streamproof just means the overlay isn’t captured by capture software. not 100% sure how it works though

that’s the general idea. the product page says ESP and menus stay off OBS and most capture tools. note the wording, most capture tools, not all. capture software varies and gets updated, so we wouldn’t treat it as a blanket guarantee

so basically test it before you hit record on something you actually care about

that’s a sensible habit. record a short test with the capture tool you actually use and check the result. and check the Status page after game or system updates, since things can change
