If you have been looking at Tarkov cheats, you have probably seen Cloud DMA mentioned in the features and requirements. It raises an obvious question: do you need it, and what does it cost on top of the plan? The short version is that it is a separate purchase from the monthly and lifetime plans, so it is worth understanding before you check out.
What DMA means
DMA stands for direct memory access. In the cheat world, the term refers to reading game data from outside the machine that runs the game, rather than relying only on software running on that same PC.
Cloud DMA is the version listed on this product's page, where it appears alongside AWS in the feature list. The setup details are on the product page and handled through support, so use those for current steps instead of relying on forum posts that may be outdated.
It is sold separately
This is the most important point for buyers. The monthly plan ($35 for 31 days) and the lifetime plan ($150 one time) are the cheat itself. Cloud DMA is bought on its own. When you compare costs, add it to your total instead of assuming it is included.
Our monthly and lifetime pricing breakdown covers the two plans and how to choose between them.
Required or optional?
The product page lists Cloud DMA among the requirements for full functionality. That wording matters. Read it as: the full feature set depends on it, so if you want everything the product offers, plan for it. If you are unsure what your own setup will cover, check the product page for the current wording, or open a ticket and ask before you pay.
Who should look at it
- You want the full feature set. If the page says Cloud DMA is needed for full functionality, that is the group it applies to.
- You want to compare total cost. Plan price plus Cloud DMA is the real number, not the plan price alone.
- You are setting up for the first time. Read the requirements first so you know what your PC and your account need.
What stays the same
The cheat itself is for main Tarkov raids only, with a separate key from Arena. The feature set covers player, boss and scav ESP, loot ESP, extract ESP, aimbot options, no recoil, hotkeys and a config system. You can see the details on the DMA page and the Escape From Tarkov cheats product page.
Windows settings still matter
Cloud DMA does not replace the Windows requirements. The product still lists HVCI, Core Isolation, TPM and Secure Boot turned on, on Windows 10 or 11. Our requirements guide walks through how to check each one.
Anti-cheat and DMA
Players often search for DMA because Escape From Tarkov uses BattlEye, a kernel-level anti-cheat. We cover that in a separate guide on BattlEye. No setup can promise that it will always work, because the game and its protections change. Check the Status page before you play, especially after a patch.
Before you buy
- Decide between monthly and lifetime.
- Check the current Cloud DMA details on the product page.
- Add Cloud DMA to your total cost.
- Confirm your Windows settings.
- Ask support if anything is unclear.
